EMBERS FROM SEPTEMBER 2026 LYNX LAKE-EAGLE RIDGE CAMPOUT, PRESCOTT, AZ

Thursday morning before the club host could arrive, Jim Green had already parked his 5th wheel toy hauler and unloaded the Harley trike.  By noon, Ray and Judy Koezendorfer with their Aline trailer found a space.  Everyone else soon arrived. From New Mexico or New America, Mike Van Horn, By pickup with Honda trike in trailer Marty and Muki Sikorsky. Don and Susan Western, Steve and Sal Kastel, and Dave Christiansen completed the Nevada regulars.  A new Nevada member only on his 2nd campout with us, we welcomed Brandon Clairmont. Robin Petrovsky came several times to visit in her big yellow truck. Her Spyder was in the shop, Dan Stephenson came late, way past sundown Thursday night. All in all 16 attended either camping or just visiting.

Friday morning, we rode 25 miles through the back country west of Prescott to have breakfast at The Forge.  It’s a small building that was once a gasoline station in the community of Skull Valley. We ate our meal outside at small tables with umbrellas.  This was the best sunny weather we have ever had for this campout.

Saturday evening, we dined in camp with potluck side dishes and desserts.  Naturally it was heavy with desserts topped off with those brownies at Denise Green loves to make.  We all love to eat them especially around the campfire.
