Directions: From I-15 take exit 58. Campground is 25 miles SE of Temecula on Highway 79. From the east it is 35 miles NW of the town of Julian. Coordinates: 33.38670, -116.79140. Sites need to be reserved through https://www.recreation.gov/
Each has a picnic table and grill, and sharing is allowed. The campground has flush toilets. Cell phone coverage is spotty. Days should be pleasant, nights can get chilly.
Conveniences: Country store and gas station 5 miles east at Sunshine Summit.
Attractions: Palomar Observatory, towns of Julian and Santa Ysabel for pie and ice cream. There are several hiking trails in the area.
