Conveniences/Services/Things to Do: All services are located in Flagstaff. This weekend will be the peak of the Perseids Meteor Shower and with the dark skies, the night show should be amazing. There are several easy walking trails in the National Monument, and the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim (east entrance) is approximately 70 miles away.
What to Bring: Hosts will provide chilidogs on Friday night and bring wood for a group fire pit. Individual fires are not allowed. There is drinking water in the campground, otherwise, bring whatever you need for a great weekend getaway, and bring side dishes for Friday if you can.
Elevation and Weather Notes: The campground sits at 7,000 feet so expect cool nights and pleasant days.
